Yellowstone Officials Kill Charging Grizzly Bear
Published atOfficials in Yellowstone National Park killed a grizzly bear Monday that was known to cause problems with tourists. On Saturday the grizzly aggressively approached a man and then ran at him near the north end of Yellowstone Lake. The man threw his pack at the grizzly – then the bear stopped charging, tore into the pack and ate the food inside. Rangers say the grizzly was not the same bear that killed a hiker in June.
