8-year-olds Face Felony Arson Charges

(POCATELLO) – Two eight-year-old kids are facing felony charges of arson for starting the “Drive In Fire” near Pocatello Aug. 15. A Bannock County juvenile prosecutor says the kids could spend up to 180 days in a youth detention center and work “lots of hours of community service.” The fire burned 1,200 acres, destroyed one home, and cost the Bureau of Land Management an estimated $750,000.
