(POCATELLO) – The Bureau of Land Management is considering a plan that would close several popular climbing areas at Massacre Rocks. Federal officials believe the historical integrity of the area is hurt by overuse, and want to prevent further damage. The site is home to several archaeological and cultural resources. A public hearing on the plan is scheduled for later this month in Burley.
