D. 91 To Apply for New Tech School

(IDAHO FALLS) – District 91 officials are considering the possibility of opening a New Tech high school. KIDK reports that 16 administrators from the district went to Texas last week to see a New Tech school first hand. The schools promote an innovative “real-world approach” to curriculum. School board members voted unanimously to apply for the tech-savvy school, which could be in operation by August, 2012 with a price tag of about $500,000.
