Gun Found During Portneuf Cleanup

Photo courtesy of KIDK and LocalNews8.com(POCATELLO) – Cleanup crews working around the Portneuf River in Pocatello Saturday stumbled across a stolen machine gun. KIDK reports that volunteers were picking up trash when they found a rusted AK-47 assault rifle sitting in the brush. Police say the gun was reported stolen last month, and confirmed that the weapon was loaded. They say anyone who finds something dangerous should immediately call police and leave the weapon alone.
