(BOISE) – The state of Idaho is one step closer to being one of a handful of states requiring students to take online courses. The state Board of Education approved a plan Friday requiring high school student to take at least two online credits to graduate. Public hearings on the measure will be held over the next three weeks, though board spokesman Mark Browning says a reversal is unlikely. Only Alabama, Florida, and Michigan have similar plans in place.
