(BOISE) – An Idaho man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after murdering his former girlfriend’s 8-year-old son. 38-year-old Daniel Ehrlick was accused of first degree murder in the death of Robert Manwill. Police say Ehrlick killed the boy, then hid the victim’s body in an irrigation canal during the summer of 2009. The boy’s mother, Melissa Jenkins, was sentenced to 25 years in prison for her role in the murder. Ehrlick does not have the possibility of parole.
