(IDAHO FALLS) – A group of six new commissioners has been given the task of redrawing Idaho’s political boundaries. The panel replaces the first group which failed to reach a consensus after 90 days on the drawing board. Local commissioners include Republican Sheila Olsen of Idaho Falls and Democrat Elmer Martinez of Pocatello. The commission is expected to have new boundaries finalized within the next four to six weeks.
