Tax Collection to Begin for Snake River Landing

(IDAHO FALLS) – Hotels in Idaho Falls have received paperwork to being charging room rate taxes to pay for a new events center. Local News 8 reports that legal hurdles and financial concerns may stall the project in the Snake River Landing development. Officials say the center’s groundbreaking may not happen for a year or more unless more revenue can be generated.
