(POCATELLO) – The dream of a local family to build a playground has finally become a reality. Hundreds of people gathered in Pocatello Saturday morning to celebrate the grand opening of Brooklyn’s Playground. Area residents were able to raise more than $500,000 and contribute 15,000 man-hours to complete the project. Organizers say that working together to build the wheelchair-accessible playground represented the “heart and soul” of the community.
