Burley Woman Dies in Crash

(HEYBURN) – A Burley woman is dead following a car accident Sunday morning. 74-year-old Janet Kingsley was pulling onto Highway 24 in Heyburn when she collided with an oncoming pickup. Police say Kingsley was taken by ambulance to Minidoka Memorial Hospital where she later died. Kingsley’s passenger, 63-year-old Betsey Wood of Blackfoot, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup was not hurt. Idaho State Police say all three people involved were wearing their seat belts.
