D. 25 Changes Online Participation Policy

(POCATELLO) – The Pocatello-Chubbuck School District has changed its policy for home schooled students. KPVI reports that students can no longer take one or two classes at local schools without being enrolled at least part time. Some parents feel their kids are being unfairly excluded from extracurricular activities and music classes as a result. District officials say they can’t receive state funding for a student unless they’re enrolled in at least three courses, or about 150 minutes per day.
