(TWIN FALLS) – A southern Idaho judge has granted a Twin Falls County prosecutor more time to decide where he will seek the death penalty against a man accused in a fatal shooting earlier this year. Prosecutor Grant Loebs now has until Nov. 4 to seek the death penalty against 26-year-old Clark Cleveland. The suspect is charged with 12 felonies including the murder of 43-year-old Utah resident Tracy Ivie, after a standoff with police at a Twin Falls hotel. Idaho law typically gives prosecutors sixty days to pursue the death penalty after an arraignment.
