LDS Temple to be Built in Star Valley

(SALT LAKE CITY, Utah) – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced that it will build a new temple in Star Valley, Wyoming. Church authorities say the building will provide worship services for several thousand church members living in the region, and will be the first Mormon temple built in Wyoming. Church President Thomas S. Monson also announced a second temple in Provo, Utah. The Provo building will be constructed on the location of the old tabernacle, which was destroyed last December during a fire.
