Pocatello Police Chief Resigns

(POCATELLO) – Pocatello Police Chief James “J.R.” Miller has stepped down from his position as head of the department. Miller made the announcement Wednesday afternoon, which was later confirmed by Mayor Brian Blad. Miller has accepted a law enforcement position in his home state of Florida. Miller’s resignation will go into effect Monday, which will be the beginning of a nation-wide search to find a replacement. Miller served four years as Pocatello’s police chief.
