(POCATELLO) – The Pocatello-Chubbuck School District approved a policy Tuesday night, requiring students to be enrolled at least part time to participate in school-related activities. The plan drew sharp criticism from parents who homeschool their children, saying it unfairly excludes the kids from sports and other clubs. The state requires students to be enrolled at least part time to receive funding. A previous rule allowed students enrolled in just one or two classes to still participate in extracurricular activities.
