Judge Closes 6 Off-Road Trails in Idaho

The order follows a February ruling that found that the U.S. Forest Service had ignored evidence of significant damage to the trails caused by off-road vehicles. Officials say the trails will remain closed until forest managers can draft rules aimed at better protecting soil, water, and vegetation from ATV’s and other vehicles.
