(POCATELLO) – The Portneuf Medical Center is now one of only a few hospitals in the state to offer a new vascular procedure. Local News 8 reports that the Idaho Vein Center is now performing  a non-invasive, painless procedure known as peripheral venous testing. Doctors say it’s a type of ultrasound that provides a way to diagnose diseases of the veins and arteries. They say they’re happy to see medical services in eastern Idaho improving.
