(EASTERN IDAHO) – Three people died over the weekend in three separate car accidents in the region. 41-year-old Sofia Hull of Preston died Friday afternoon after a 3-car crash on U.S. 91. A 23-year-old woman died in Bonneville County Saturday night after a 2-car accident on 65th South and Holmes. Also on Saturday 35-year-old Tonia Fries of Idaho Falls was ejected from her vehicle after hitting a patch of ice on I-84 near Boise. She and two other passengers were hospitalized. Fries, who was five months pregnant, survived the crash, though police say the baby did not make it.
