(IDAHO FALLS) – Search and Rescue crews from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office were combing Gem Lake yesterday as they look for the body of a man believed to have drowned nearly two weeks ago. Teams were able to use sonar equipment from Boise to aid in the search, though their time in the water was cut short due to a technical difficulty with the new sonar. Officials say they were able to resume the search because the ice had cleared, but did not confirm when the search will resume.
