(LAS VEGAS) — The Boise State Broncos (12-1) lead 28-3 at halftime and went on to win 56-24 Thursday night over Arizona State (6-7) to win the MAACO Bowl.
Broncos’ running back Doug Martin ran for 151 yards on the ground and returned the opening kickoff in the rout.
It will be the end of the road for Kellen Moore as he leaves Boise State as the NCAA’s winningest passer.
“Very fortunate to be put in the situation I was,” said Moore, who will be looking for an NFL team to pick him up in next year’s NFL draft. “When you are surrounded by great people, great things happen.”
Dennis Erickson coached his last game for Arizona State (6-7), which let him go in November after the Sun Devils finished the regular season on a four-game losing streak.
