(LAS VEGAS) — Champion boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was sentenced to 90 days in jail Wednesday after pleading guilty to a domestic violence charge stemming from an altercation with an ex-girlfriend in September 2010.
The 34-year-old Mayweather needs to turn himself in on January 6 to begin his sentence. He has a career 42-0 record and won his last fight against Victor Ortiz in September.
