Britney Spears Didn’t Turn Down Boyfriend’s Proposal, Says Rep
(LOS ANGELES) -- If In Touch Weekly is to be believed, Britney Spears received her long-awaited proposal from boyfriend Jason Trawick -- and turned him down! Except it never happened, Britney's spokesperson tells E! Online.
The In Touch Weekly story claimed that Trawick initially was going to propose to Britney on Christmas, but he decided to do it on her 30th birthday, Dec. 2, instead. The magazine claimed he got down on one knee and offered Britney an engagement ring, but she "panicked" and said she "needed time to think." However, Britney's rep says the report is "entirely not true."
But now there's more. TMZ.com is reporting that Trawick will propose to Britney Friday night in Las Vegas. The website further reports that there will be a prenuptial agreement between the two.
Britney actually has already gifted Trawick -- not with a ring, but with a new set of wheels.
After tweeting on Wednesday that "poor Jason" had "less than five hours left to be in his 30s," she tweeted Thursday, "Hbday Jason! He looked so cool in the ["Criminal"] video that I had to get him a new motorcycle...Check out this new Confederate Bike I got him!" She then posted a photo on Facebook of the extremely cool-looking bike, as well as a picture of the birthday boy himself.
