Cowboys Defeat Buccaneers, 31-15

Dallas made short work of Tampa Bay Saturday night, scoring 28 first-half points, en-route to a 31-15 victory over the hapless Buccaneers. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo made his presence felt in the Sunshine state, tossing 249 yards and three touchdowns along with one rushing T-D.
“We really needed to get back on track and this was an important game,” Romo said. “Really, the playoffs started for us and that’s the way we approached it. The guys came out with great energy and it was a great week of practice. We just had to go forward and I thought the guys did that.”
The victory snaps Dallas’ two-game losing streak as they improve to 8-6 on the season.
Up next for the Cowboys is a home game against the Philadelphia Eagles followed by a season ending showdown on the road against the New York Giants.
With the loss, the Bucs fell to 4-10 for the season, placing third-year head coach Raheem Morris squarely on the hot seat.
