Former Bank Manager Gets Jail Time

(RUPERT) – Monica Barajas, a former KeyBank manager in Rupert, faces four months of jail time after taking out $25,000 in loans in a customer’s name. The Boise woman was also given a five-year suspended sentence on Monday by Judge Jonathan Brody. Barajas was fired last November and has paid over $20,000 in restitution. She pleaded guilty to previous charges in October.
