(MEMPHIS, Tenn.) — Memphis Grizzlies forward Darrell Arthur, coming off the best season of his three-year NBA career, will miss the 2011-12 season with a torn Achilles tendon.
Arthur, who suffered the injury during practice, averaged 9.1 points per game last season and shot just under 50 percent from the field. He helped Memphis reached the second round of the playoffs.
