Update: Fallen Idaho Falls Soldier, Body Returned

(IDAHO FALLS) – The body of a slain Idaho soldier returned home yesterday. 28-year-old Ryan Sharp’s body arrived at the Idaho Falls Regional Airport on Sunday afternoon. The solider died on Dec. 3 after being hit by an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan on Nov. 21. Sharp was promoted in rank after his death from corporal to sergeant. Funeral services were planned for today in Idaho Falls.
