ISP Cracks Down on Drunk Drivers

(IDAHO FALLS) – Idaho State Police will be cracking down on drunk drivers this holiday season. KIDK reports that police are teaming up with the Idaho Transportation Department and using federal grants to put more patrols on roadways. Police say there were over 10,000 DUI arrests last year, and 96 deaths caused by drunk drivers. The campaign runs through Jan. 3.
