La Niña Causes Mild Winter
Published at(IDAHO FALLS) – You may have seen a little snow here and there last week, but overall it’s been a pretty mild winter. The National Weather Service says it’s all thanks to La Niña, the weather phenomenon that cools water temperatures in the Pacific near the Equator. Officials say that while it may seem a bit dry for this time of year, it may not last for long. The next three months are expected to be much cooler and wetter than normal.
