(CLARK COUNTY) – Wednesday may have brought plenty of snow to the region, but eastern Idaho is still thirsty for more. With so little snow in the last few months, local governments have started to invest in cloud seeding. KIDK reports that cloud seeding has the potential to milk 3 or 4 percent more moisture out of a storm than usual. Officials say spraying a little silver iodide into the air can make a big difference downwind. There are nearly 40 cloud seeders adding more snow throughout eastern Idaho.
