(SAN FRANCISCO) — The Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) travel to the City by the Bay Monday night to take on the San Francisco 49ers (10-3) in Week 15 of NFL action.
The black and goal will be without their all-pro linebacker, James Harrison. He will be serving a one-game suspension for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback Colt McCoy during last week’s victory.
The 49ers come into the contest ranked fifth overall in defense and seventh overall in rushing offense.
“They are capable of running the football on anyone. They are capable of stopping the run. They are number one in the league in stopping the run,” Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said.
The Steelers enter the showdown with the league’s second-ranked defense, having given up only 198 points during the season.
Kickoff is slated for 8:30 p.m. ET.
