UPDATE: Runoff Election In Blackfoot

(BLACKFOOT) – Tuesday’s runoff election in Blackfoot resulted in Butch Hulse winning the City Council seat. Hulse obtained over 450 votes to Claire Broadhead’s 328 . Because of a city ordinance, the winner of the city council seat had to win by at least 50 percent, and a re-election was necessary due to Hulse only having 49.7 percent of the vote during last month’s elections.
