Shelley Teen Killed in Weekend Accident

(IDAHO FALLS) – A Shelley teen is dead after an early morning car accident Saturday. 17-year-old Brock Cherry was headed southbound on Ammon Road when he lost control of his vehicle near 65th South. The victim was ejected from the car as it rolled. Police say Cherry was rushed to EIRMC where he was pronounced dead. Authorities say the accident was caused by Cherry speeding on slick roads, though the crash remains under investigation.
