Shooting Breaks Out at Detroit Area Roller Rink

Comstock/Thinkstock(WATERFORD, Mich.) — Several people were shot at a roller rink near Detroit early Friday morning as a private party being held there was coming to an end.

The shooting took place at Rolladium in Waterford around 2 a.m., reports ABC News affiliate WXYZ-TV in Detroit.  As many as six people suffered gunshot wounds, according to the owner of the rink, who told cops a fight broke out when the party was ending and that one of the guests returned with a gun and began shooting.

Police have not commented on the incident, WXYZ reports, and no further details have been made available.  An investigation is currently underway.
