Shop With A Cop Comes To Idaho Falls

(IDAHO FALLS) – Nearly 30 kids from ages 5 to 12 attended the annual Shop with a Cop event this weekend in Idaho Falls. Local News 8 reports that the kids were treated to breakfast and shopped at K-Mart to buy gifts for friends and family. The children also enjoyed riding in the cop cars and sounding the sirens. Each child was specifically chosen from an application process that targeted kids who had been negatively affected by law enforcement to help them regain a sense of trust.
