Romo who went down after suffering a bruised hand when he struck Jason Babin’s helmet in Saturday’s 20-7 loss to the Eagles should be capable of playing, according to sources.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett addressed the injury on Monday and said the team hopes that Romo will be able to practice on Wednesday.

“He needs to play as well as he can play and we’re excited again about the opportunity,” Garrett said. “He’s a tough guy. He’s played through injury this year. He’s a great competitor. He’s excited about the chance to be a part of this thing.”
