(IDAHO FALLS) – A new study suggests that one in three people in the United States will be arrested by the time they’re 23 years old. Sgt. Jeff Edwards of the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office tells Local News 8 that the results of the study published in “Pediatrics” don’t hold true in eastern Idaho. Edwards says the area provides great environment to raise kids in a positive manner. He believes the numbers in the study are linked to larger metropolitan areas with higher crime rates.
