NBA? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1325266854540National Basketball Association(PHOENIX) — The Phoenix Suns hope their medical staff can work its magic once again, as the team has signed former all-star guard Michael Redd to a one-year deal for the veteran’s minimum of about $1.3 million.

The 32-year old sharpshooter had spent his entire 11-year career with the Milwaukee Bucks where he established himself as one the premier pure shooters in the NBA. His career though, has been derailed by injuries to his left knee over the past three seasons. He has played in just 61 out of a possible 246 games during that span.

“Michael Redd has a proven pedigree as a first-rate NBA scorer,” Suns President of Basketball Operations Lon Babby said in a release.”He will work with our renowned training staff to get into basketball shape. When he is ready to play, Michael will be a welcome addition to our team.”

Redd is hoping to find the same medical success that current Suns forward Grant Hill has had since he signed with Phoenix.
