(FOXBOROUGH) — New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is officially listed as probable on the teams injury report for Sunday’s game against the Bills.
Brady injured his shoulder during the Pat’s 27-24 win over the Miami Dolphins last Sunday.
The upcoming game is important for New England because a win secures it home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
Patriots receiver Wes Welker, who is also listed on the injury report, was emphatic that both he and Brady would play.
“Absolutely. This is for the No. 1 seed, fellas, so we’re going so we’re going out there and giving everything we got for four quarters,” Welker said.
If Brady does play, he has a chance to become the third quarterback in NFL history to throw for 5,000 yards in a season.
