Van Halen Confirms Plans for a 2012 Tour

Steve Granitz/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — It’s official, Van Halen fans! The rock legends have revealed via a series of trailers posted on Van-Halen.com that they will head out on the road in 2012.
The black-and-white clips each show a montage of footage of the band members — David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Wolfgang Van Halen — rocking out on a soundstage as segments of their various classic tunes play in the background. In addition, a scrolling banner moves across the bottom of the screen announcing: “Van Halen on tour 2012. First tickets on sale January 10.”
According to Blabbermouth.net, the promos were shot on Nov. 14 at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, Calif., and are believed to feature footage that also will be part of the official video for a new Van Halen song. A new studio album from the band is expected out sometime next year, possibly as early as February.
