Will Smith’s ‘Fresh Prince’ Mom Thinks He’s a Jerk

Jun Sato/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — Last week, Will Smith posted onto Facebook a photo of his reunion with many of his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-stars at a charity event. Conspicuous by her absence in the picture was the first actress to play his mother on the show, Janet Hubert. It seems she doesn’t care much for Smith.
After she was booted from the 1990s sitcom about halfway through its run, Hubert suggested that Smith was to blame for her firing. She apparently hasn’t backed off that stance, since she tells TMZ.com, “He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up. This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word.” She says, “There will never be a reunion…as I will never do anything with an a****** like Will Smith.”
