Australian Woman Survives after Bungee Cord Snaps

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(HARARE, Zimbabwe) — A young Australian woman came face to face with death when he bungee cord snapped, plunging her head first into the crocodile infested water of the Zambezi River.
“It went black straighaway and I felt like I’d been slapped all over,” Erin Langworthy said of the incident.
Back on dry land she cough up water and blood. The 22-year-old spent a week in the hosptial but amazing wasn’t seriously injured in the fall.
“I think it’s definetly a miracle that I survived,” she said.
It remains unclear why Langworthy’s cord broke. An investigation is reportedly underway.
