Buccaneers Fired Head Coach Raheem Morris
Published at(NEW YORK) — After a disappointing 4-12 season, including 10 straight losses to end the year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fired head coach Raheem Morris.
This time last season, the Buccaneers were considered an up and coming team after going 10-6 and just missed the playoffs under Morris. Expectations were high for the team as well as Morris, but the team struggled mightily on both offense and defense.
“We want to thank Coach Morris for all of his hard work and dedication as head coach of the Buccaneers,” Bucanneers co-chairman Joel Glazer said in a statement.
In three seasons as the Buccaneers head coach, Morris went 17-31.
