(BOSTON) — The Celtics lost their 5th straight game, this one to Oklahoma City, 97-88. The C’s haven’t lost this many games in a row since the 2006-2007 season.
The Celtics’ record now sits at 4-8 and puts them five-and-a-half games behind Philadelphia in the Atlantic Division standings.
Despite losing, Boston’s head coach Doc Rivers seems rather optimistic.
“I like our spirit,” said Rivers. “It’s crazy this whole streak. I didn’t like us the first couple games because we just didn’t play well. The last couple you could just see it coming. But you got to break through at some point.”
The Celtics will try to break the streak Wednesday, when they take on the Raptors.
