‘Contraband,’ ‘Joyful Noise,’ ‘Beauty and the Beast’ 3D Open Friday

-- Contraband: Mark Wahlberg is an ex-criminal who resumes his life as a smuggler after his brother-in-law messes up a drug deal for his boss.  Kate Beckinsale, Ben Foster and Giovanni Ribisi also star.  Rated R.

-- Joyful Noise: Queen Latifah and country music legend Dolly Parton play two very different leaders of a small-town choir in Georgia that enters a national competition.  Nickelodeon actress Keke Palmer also stars.  Rated PG-13.  [Click here to read a review]
