CW Orders Pilots for ‘Sex and the City’ Prequel, Two Others

Alexander Tamargo/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — The CW has ordered a pilot for its previously reported Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project focuses on Carrie Bradshaw as a high school student.
The CW has also ordered two pilots based on the 1980s TV show Beauty and the Beast and DC Comics’ Green Arrow, respectively.
