(CHICAGO) — Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte has been medically cleared to play in the upcoming Pro Bowl game.
Forte suffered a sprained right medial collateral ligament in a game versus Kansas City December 4th. He missed the Bears final four games of the season.
Before the injury, Forte was having a fantastic year, averaging 4.9 yards per carry and gaining 1,487 yards from scrimmage in 12 games.
Those stats were enough to elect Forte to his first Pro Bowl.
The Pro Bowl will be held January 29th in Hawaii.
