(POCATELLO) – After an ongoing dispute with Idaho Power, Hoku has paid its November power bill. State officials say the arguments are not over however. Hoku still owes interest from November and hasn’t yet made its December payment, raising concerns that the state’s largest utility could still pull the plug on the $300 million facility. Hoku has until Jan. 26 to pay off their debts before Idaho Power will be allowed to pull funds out of Hoku’s $4 million deposit with the utility.
