Katherine Heigl Open to Return Appearance on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

ABC/RANDY HOLMES(LOS ANGELES) — Katherine Heigl, who starred on Grey’s Anatomy until her departure in 2010, says she’s open to making a return appearance on the ABC series.
Heigl, who played Dr. Izzie Stevens, tells E! Online that she’d make a cameo if asked by producers, saying, “I really, really, really want to see where [Izzie] is. I just want to know what happened to her and where she went and what she’s doing now.”
Two years ago, Heigl was released from her Grey’s Anatomy contract early, at her request. She stars in the film One for the Money, debuting on Jan. 27.
