Lakers Win Sixth Straight at Home
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — The Los Angeles Lakers (6-4) defeated the Memphis Grizzlies (3-5), 90-82 Sunday. The win was the Lakers sixth straight home victory, and improves their record at the Staples Center to 6-1 on the season.
Kobe Bryant led the way, scoring 26 points and dishing out 9 assists.
Despite the win, the Lakers committed a season high 27 turnovers. That could be do to their busy schedule. The Purple and Gold is tied with Oklahoma City for playing the most games this season, ten.
“This is tough. You’d rather not talk about it,” forward Pau Gasol said. “We’re tired, and we’re going to stay tired.”
It’s not going to get any easier for the Lakers. They play five games in the next eight days.
